How do I fix an overlapped I/O opration is in progress error

Question

I am trying to make a connection from my computer to  a Klick N- Kut Groove-e cutter so I can make craft projects but when I go to cut I get an error message stating:  Overlapped I/O operation s in progress.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
