conecting a phone to wifi

I upgraded my phone Iphone 4 to a Iphone 5c the wifi works great on the Iphone 4 but the Iphone 5c won't connect it says unable to connect or can't connect.  What can I do to connect Iphone 5c?  I don't care if I phone 4 is on wifi if it has to come off that phone.

Take the phone back for servicing or replacement. If the i4 connected with no issue, then there must be an issue with the i5.

Have you tried to back up your iphone 4 via itune then set up your iphone 5c via itune, and transfer your iphoe 4 settings over? If you just got the iphone 5c, go back to the store, and have them do the backup/setup for you there.
