How do I report a scam text message

Question

I got a text message regarding a sale of a harp I have on line.  484-397-8585.  Annie claims to be a marine out at sea and wants to make a purchase sight unseen will pay tranfer fees and have a courier service pick it up wants to pay through pay-pal.  Scam for certain. I'm a senior and don't really know how to text so was unable to respond except asking them to call instead of texting no word since.  Is there anything or anyone I need to notify dealing with this?  Thank You Maryanne Siemer

Yes, I got the same text message from Annie want to buy my restaurant equipemtn, said she is at sea and cannot inspect.  I asked him what she want to buy and she said appliance.  Then I asked her buying without seeing and without knowing the prices ?

The number was 1-914-580-1043
