how do I transfer my photos from my LG phone to computer

I'm new to this and really need help. I have a LG440G and a HP Pavilion a6120n PC I want to transfer photos from my cell phone to my computer

I have an LG phone as well and finally found out how. You need a gmail account though. Click gallery of pics, checkmark pic, and on the left side at bottom of phone there is a square small white button; when you click on it, 3 buttons pop up--share, delete and more--click on the share button then click on the gmail button which pulls up a Compose like your computer email and you fill it out and send it to your gmail account.
