how to repair/check out a genie intellicode garage door opener with new batteries but will not work?

I have a Genie Intellicode garage door opener that no longer will work.
I put the same batteries in it (new) still will not work.  I see a little light type bulb inside does this send a signal to the main
board. What am I missing?  Appreciate any help.  Shari

I had the same problem, if I remember correctly there is a little reset button on the moor assembly, Press that in and release it,

That might do the trick.  also check  the code switches, you may have changed them inadvertantly when changing the battery?

If that doesn't work, check with Sears repair website. they may have instruction booklet you can download.
